Chapter 16…
Can you believe it, 16 years we’ve been at this! February 2, 2026, marks our 16th year in business! If I’m being honest, there have been many days in the last few years when I woke up feeling like I wasn’t sure if we would make it or how we even got here…
Moving a manufacturing business, “yes, we do manufacture all of our Hay Nets and Lead Ropes in-house, here in Texas,” across the country and rebuilding it has proven to be one of the hardest tasks ever set before me and the team.
There have been highs and lows, Good times, bad times, and times where I just wanted to give up… I’ve had many conversations with God on how maybe he got it wrong… The warrior he chose was just not cut out for the battle before her… but here we are about embark on what I believe is going to be our best year yet!
It may sound a little crazy, but the truth is, we have been working so hard to get things done to make room for growth and bring you all the products and dreams we love to create. Our passion for reaching our goals has been renewed. We have many exciting things to share, and ultimately, we know we’ve been given a platform; we do not want to look back someday and regret not giving it our all!
So, with that said, February 2, 2026, not only marks 16 years in business, but it also marks the beginning of something much bigger! For us, it marks the beginning of realizing what Redemption is all about. The word redemption can take on many meanings. Hay Chix has been on the road to redemption ever since we started. Through all the lessons learned, Godwinks and Godsmacks…I’ve realized that this was always His plan.
We’ve built a business whose sole purpose started because we had a problem with wasting hay & time. Our goal was to get you back both. We didn’t know then all the other advantages of slow feeding horses, but ultimately, we helped start a true revolution in how we now care for our animals.
The actual meaning of redemption is to regain or gain possession of something in exchange for payment. I’ve always said that we ‘sell time’… Time is something that you don’t get back, so we must be very wise in how we spend it. Our goal has always been to find ways to do the things we have to do daily, with our horses and livestock, better and more efficiently.
With that said, we would like to introduce you to Redemption by Hay Chix.
It’s the true meaning behind our brand. We want to provide you with quality products that redeem your time and resources.
Let’s face it. This world is crazy. All of our schedules are stacked, and life is flying by. We are busier now than we’ve ever been, trying to find the answers to so many questions can leave us exhausted at the end of each day.
We were made for more!
