Build a Bridge

Yes, Build a bridge and get over it. That’s right, life isn’t fair on this side of Heaven. Bad things happen to good people, good horses, and unfortunately, in the days we are all living in, we get to experience far more than we were ever meant to endure as we consume social media and especially the news.

But here’s the kicker - We don’t have to stay there. We don’t have to stay on paths that are bringing us down or stealing our joy. God always gives us a way out. Now, it may not be quick, it likely won’t be easy, but if you truly want to move up, through and beyond the loss, heartbreak & disappointment, He will help you build that bridge and lead you to the other side.

As most of you reading this know, we have experienced a great challenge here in the past months. It wasn’t fair, it is definitely not easy to navigate, and even on a day like today, when we truly do not know what the future holds, we keep pushing forward, one step at a time. This has been the thinnest line we’ve ever walked. The bridge we’re building has started out so narrow that if you take a faulty step left or right, you might hit the ground, and it won’t be running…

So why do it? Why choose to keep walking and building? Because we trust the one who built it all, we trust Him to guide us through this storm and the next. We trust that He has never let us down and has always been there even when it felt like everything was falling apart.

And this leads me to what I’m about to share with you all. In the midst of our darkest days in this business, we had just finished up the best April we have ever had, we had launched new products, and we had just signed the documents to purchase a new shop so we could get our business under one roof and be able to grow and expand our product lines as we’ve always hoped for. It was happening, the dotted line had been signed!

Then it all changed in the blink of an eye… imagine almost everything you worked for gone, no product, no answers, just problem after problem after problem. This has truly been a test of faith. There were so many times I just wanted to throw my sucker in the dirt and give up. Well, at least my flesh did… See, the reality is that this life is hard. It’s going to bring us challenges that we don’t want to face. They aren’t fair, and they are sometimes crippling. I am also highly aware that not all circumstances can be compared equally, as some things are just absolutely tragic.

If I’m being 💯 honest with you all right now, I’m lying in bed praying that God will heal one of my favorite horses, whom I just got home from bringing to the vet for colic. This in itself is another altar moment where I’m giving it to Him… I just want to be so close to Him that I can hear the faintest whisper of Him telling me to trust Him & the truth is I really do. It hurts a lot of times, but I know He knows what is best and also knows the end from the beginning, so why would I not want Him as my guide…?

Now, back to what I was truly trying to get to… We were under contract for a new shop, a project that will take a lot of time and resources but in the end would suit us well and help us expand and serve many people. So what would you do if held to the fire on this one? Your business’s supply has been cut off, you have minimal actual sales because you're in crisis management, trying to navigate taking care of all your affected customers, and yet you were clearly given a path and direction to take that business forward…

Well, only time will tell if we have made the right decision, but we chose to trust the Maker. We are building our bridge and getting to take one step [at a time] closer to the other side. We are so excited to say we will be moving to our new location, still right here in the heart of Texas, just on the outside of Mineral Wells in Weatherford, TX. It is going to be a destination worth stopping by to see while you’re visiting or stopping in to hang out if you live nearby. We are going to take you along this journey as we break ground and build the vision piece by piece.

We want to share this part of our story with you to give you hope and try to inspire you to stop listening to all of the static, all the so-called voices of influence, many of which are self-serving. Start listening to the first influencer who walked this earth, with some wild ideas that would change everything for us all if we just believed. Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you, I personally know that His influence can change every aspect of your life, and it will be worth it. I lived a pretty wild life prior to meeting Him, and if I thought my previous life was wild, a walk with God is downright crazy!

We invite you all to come along on our journey as we walk into this new chapter step by step, claiming and believing for Big, God-sized vision and Victory.

Welcome to Redemption…

PS, for those of you wondering about my horse Seven, while I was finishing this up, I got a call from the vet, and she is doing better… progress not perfection, and I will take it…

Have a Great Week, and we’ll keep you updated as we make progress weekly at our new location on top of the hill, right by a bridge… Wow, I’m honestly just floored as I didn’t even think about that bridge until I was just going through how to describe where it is… God is just Cool… literally, where we are rebuilding is called Cool, TX… Alright, I’m done. Have an Amazing and Inspiring Week!
Blessings,
Kris
